Default lag fix = lie

In the Tuesday May 23 update, it is stated:

Fixed a bug that caused certain towns and outposts to experience heavy lag.

this is a lie. The lag is worse than ever, and it's spread into the explorable zones. Been getting worse every day. It sucks having to wait 1 minute to get an npc to respond (cash in/accept quest), selling stuff to a merchant is hazardous, and rubber banding is getting out of control.

Fix this.

I agree with OP, a bit. While I do acknowledge that the towns receiving heavy lag are quite a bit better now, I still experience a lot of lag in explorable areas and towns. I've done everything I can to reduce the lag on my side, and things work great in the Prophecies campaign, but its just horrible in the Factions campaign.

i seem to be having lots of problems with the prophecies campaign and not factions. only in explorable areas though.

I could not move in House Zu Heltzer before this update. Now I can. I think they fixed something.

Now on the other hand...I am on wireless and do have my moments of lag. Remember, its not always their servers...

I've noticed some lag over the last few days, p[ut in a support ticket for it and got the usual help. Halfway through the help process though, I was on the phone (I use vonage) and I got a rather large lag spike mid phone call. Quite possibly the lag you're seeing isn't on ANets end, but is something mid-pipe.

Most of what I experience is caused by my crappy cable service. Maybe the problem is in your ISP?

Everything is back to normal for me (besides the usual normal occasional lag) so I dont know what source you are getting your lag from, but it was most definately fixed..

I occasionally get bad lag in towns, but mostly it's nice and smooth again. Shortly after their update, the lag was horrendous, but it fixed itself for me very quickly.

I'm getting horrible lag in the explorable areas, and the lag is getting me killed, a lot. It happened all over bukdek today and then again, in the luxon side of unwaking. Very annoying, and as the OP said, it's getting worse. It is definitely not my cable.
